Coalition Members Make the Difference
Volunteer members of the community make up the coalition and assist with data collection, analysis, and prioritization of Risk and Protective Factors, the resources that are available in the counties, and assist in choosing policies, procedures, and programs, to fill the identified gaps.

Be a part of the solution! Get involved in a Caring Communities of Gibson County work group:
- Youth Involvement - Identifying and involving youth in committee activities; Coordinate skills development and youth recognition; Recruit youth to serve on the coalition
- Risk & Protective Factor Assessment/Resource Assessment & Evaluation - Collect and analyze data; Facilitate the prioritization process; Identify existing community resources and gaps; Evaluate the coalition's Community Action Plan
- Community Outreach & Public Relations - Identify opportunities to educate and involve community members; Work with the media; Maintain contact with stakeholders; Celebrate successes
- Funding - Identify and connect with resources, sources of funding, and potential funders; Develop a long-term funding/sustainability plan
- Community Board Maintenance - Recruit and educate new coalition members; Facilitate communication and reporting protocols; Coordinate team-building and recognition activities
